drug testing

  • Ms Fitness Australia is committed to a drug-free sport. All competitors must abide by WADA regulations and the Ms Fitness Australia anti-doping policy.
  • At all Ms Fitness Australia events, selected competitors will be asked to provide a urine sample and be subjected to thorough urinalysis testing in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA standards, practices and procedures.
  • If an athlete refuses to submit to drug testing or attempts to manipulate and/or alter the a urinalysis sample, then she will be immediately disqualified from the competition.

  • MFA Drug Testing Policy:
  • Under the MFA Anti-Doping Policy, any athlete that commits a doping offence is subject to the hearing process and sanctions of a two year ban for the first offence, and a life ban for a second breach.

  • During the sanction period Athletes will:
  • Be ineligible to compete in any Ms Fitness Australia competition
  • Have placing, trophies and awards won from the date of the doping practice withdrawn & handed back to Ms Fitness Australia
  • Any Pro Athletes will have their Title stripped and must come back through the Amateur divisions once suspension is completed
  • Any Athletes tested positive will reimburse the costs of Drug testing
  • Any Ms Fitness Australia member that is arrested and lawfully charged with a steroid supply or possession charge, shall be banned from competition until after the court case has been determined. A lifetime ban will be issued if that member is subsequently convicted of those charges. 'Above policies will be up to the Promoters discretion made upon relevant facts provided'.
