FITNESS MODEL CRITERIA

Are you wondering what the judges are looking for when your on stage? A Fitness Model should have a physique that is harder than a Bikini Model yet slightly softer compared to a Figure Competitor CATEGORIES - Novice, U30, O30, O40 Condition: lean enough to show a full six-pack, clear and defined separation between all major muscle groups without striations, in particular : Shoulder / Bicep Quad / Hammy Glute / Hammy Symmetry: athletes should aim to present muscles that are fully developed. Ideally an "X" frame is presented:Full shouldersDeveloped latsTight six-pack Developed quadsFull rounded glutes with tight hammiesThe development of each muscle group should match. IE. Shoulder and back development should match glute and hamstring development Also Consisting of 4 x Quarter Turns Stage presence: You've worked hard it's time to show it off with confidence and a smile! Know your poses and know your walk.. practice, practice, practice! Fitness Models are also judged on their, presentation, confidence, stage walk, presence There will be two rounds in the Fitness Model category and this will comprise of :Round 1- Bikini RoundContestants will be asked to walk in a bikini and high heels across the stage. It is important to mention that two-piece swimsuits are required. Bikini's can suit your own individual taste from mild to full blown blingG-Strings are not acceptable. Models are required to do an Individual T WALK followed by group quarter turns Round 2- Sports WearSports Wear Outfits to be provided by Ms Fitness AustraliaContestants will be asked to walk on stage cat walk style displaying active/sports wear that will be provided to the athlete.Models are required to do an Individual T WALK followed by group quarter turns Competitors can choose to also enter the optional Fitness Classique division (see below) Theme Wear is an optional FREE division.

Fitness Classique is an Open Division. The winner of this category will be the Overall Ms Fitness Classique Champion & will be awarded a Pro Card Judged on:

One Piece Swimsuit need to flatter the body and can be any colour or material Does not necessarily need to be a Competition One Piece This is one round only & Models are required to do an individual TWALK followed by group quarter turns You can Enter this Category by entering the Fitness Division and adding it as an option

ATHLETE T WALK Competitors will do a T-Walk across the stage individually to pre-selected music Ms Fitness AustraliaAthletes will do 3 individual poses of choice at each point marked on the stage. The idea is to look as though your having fun with each round displaying a bit of your personality.After completing your T-walk you will exit the stage until each competitor has finished.Once all competitors are finished you will go back on the stage for your quarter turn comparisons.
STEP BY STEP T- WALK INSTRUCTIONSEnter the stage and walk directly to the middle rear of the stage and hold a pose at point 1.After posing at point 1 walk to the front middle of the stage and pose at point 2.Following point 2 keep to the front of the stage and walk to the (right) end of the stage and pose at point 3.Then walk in the same line to the opposite side of the stage (left) and pose at point 4 & Exit the Stage
